Presentation

The realization and design of high-end audio material require the acquisition of high-performance equipment. THYLENEA company has thus invested in state-of-the-art systems.

Contrary to advice frequently given to companies nowadays - and too often followed -, we have not resolved to have our amplifiers made in countries where the workforce «seems» cheaper. We are convinced that France still has opportunities to provide work of quality rarely equalled and we are well decided to implement them. We have developed partnership with small and medium-sized enterprises that help us in the manufacturing of main components.

We carry out the design as well as all the prototypes in collaboration with friends, clients, all trying to approach perfection.

Computer-Aided Design

We use the CAD unit to realize our electronic circuits (components routing in 2 D or 3D), the design and realization of front and back façades of amplifiers, part of the serigraphy, etc.

We have a computer-driven digital drill which gives us great flexibility, as well as high precision in the design of new systems. The drill is a Technodrill machine made by C.I.F company.

Electronic Laboratory

We ensure the design as well as the realization and part of the assembling. Thus, we have created a specific room to test and assemble electronic circuits.

Computer Room

We have set up a computer room for our servers ( at the moment, we have two bi-processors for simulation applications, the accounting system and Internet site, as well as a small server for file management and the printer / scanner). Our servers run under Linux (slackware 11).

The web server runs under Zope and the Webframe Zwook.

La comptabilité s'appuie sur le logiciel he accounting system runs with SQL-Ledger in a Frenchified version which allows us to run a database process under PostgreSQL. We have resolved to choose only applications under PostgreSQL (Knowledge management, FAQ, CRM, etc).

One of the "tulip" bi-processors runs a spice 3f5 process for the simulation of electronic circuit.

Auditorium

We have set up an auditorium to present, test and listen to our products. We have connected our amplifiers to the OE-One model II loudspeaker. Our sources are :
