A) Music and Music Lovers Vissi d'Arte - Musical Café
As music lovers, it is our duty to also support original ideas promoting artists. The Vissi d'Arte Café, created by a professional musician and actor, offers a concert hall for all artists, in a warm and exceptional setting.
B) Partners Lauvray Archerie
Maker and designer of medieval bows. A great artist in this field. The bows are made-to-measure for the pleasure of all bowmen. He also creates crossbows for old and young. Along with his team, they have accepted to realize cards and sensitive components for our amplifiers. You must visit his website!
C) Computer and CAD Galaad
Essential to run my digital drill, we do regret that the designer did not bother studying something else than a commercial C++ and did not develop his software to be a multi-platform compatible tool. It is so easy!!
Spice 3f5
The absolutely necessary software for circuit simulation. Thanks to it, we have been able to save a few Euros on components. (It can be funny to see MOS-FET smoking, but it becomes rapidly expensive. And besides, Spice does not prevent some components from smoking :-).
Qucs and NGspice
Other electronic circuit simulators. It is sometimes interesting to compare several calculation methods in order to obtain the most relevant result.
SQL-Ledger
We did a lot of research to find an accounting, management, crm, inventory (etc.) software which would be free, multi-user, Frenchifiable, etc. A very good product which still evolves with a dynamic team. Does not make coffee yet!
PostgreSQL
I am personally a fan of PostgreSQL. It is really a super database management system.
Samba
Management of our small domain (there is a renegade PC to run the drill, we do have to communicate with it! :-)
Zope
A powerful CMS product working on any platform.
Zwook
a really simple and well-thought tool to develop web sites written in Zope and Python.
OpenOffice
An office automation suite is required and you cannot use a suite ending also by office! OpenOffice allows the edition of files in PDF format, thus readable by everyone on any platform.
Xfig
We use xfig to realize all the plans, images, logo in vectorial drawing. There is still some deficiency, but it is an essential product.
Kicad
CAD software suite developed by Mr Jean-Pierre Charras (IUT of Grenoble). According to us, this product is of an exceptional quality, the designer ensures a dynamic follow-up. A good product for electronics engineers.
